County woman killed in accident on Md 31
One young Frederick County woman died and another was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash on Md 31 near the Carroll County line east of Libertytown. Brenda Lee Masser 18 of Frederick was a passenger in Mary Ann Cole 18 of Frederick who drove a 1971 MG Midget westbound too fast for conditions. Cole lost control and skidded into the eastbound lane where her car was struck by Cecilia Y Lilly 22 of Frederick driving a 1976 Toyota pickup. Both vehicles rested against the east guardrail.
