Fence Knocked Down By Auto On East Church Street
An auto on East Church street collided at the intersection with Chapel alley and knocked down a section of a concrete block fence at the residence of G. S. C. Bopst. Mrs. Irene R. Schultz, driving west, crossed the inter section and was struck in the left rear by Lester E. Brown’s car, sending Schultz’s vehicle onto the curb and through the fence. Schultz was unhurt. Brown’s car had minor damage. Investigator Lieut. R. C. Six charged Brown with failing to stop at a stop sign and Schultz with reckless driving. a hearing was set for January 14 in Peoples Court. Other charges included Clyde L. Lawson of Jamestown and Melvin L. Summers of Lime Hill, docketed late last night.
