Reenactors Stride Across Delaware In Bridge Crossing Event
Washington Crossing Historic Park reenactors will walk a steel bridge across the Delaware to recreate the 1776 crossing for Christmas. Due to a severe drought the river is low and boats would run aground, prompting the shift to a bridge crossing while preserving the turning point narrative of Washington and the 2,800 Continental soldiers.
