Frederick Festival of Lights Brings City Together For Holiday Spirit
A crowd gathered outside Frederick City Hall for the 21st annual Festival of Lights. Mayor Jim Grimes recalled the 1977 origin sparked by Julia Hanna as carolers from Clustered Spires and Grace Pentecostal Choir performed. Attendees shared warmth, gifts, and prayers, ending with Silent Night by candlelight and a sense of community.
