Retired GM workers stay active force in Dayton area
In Dayton Ohio 83 year old Tom Stewart leads about 160 retirees from GM brake plants in fundraisers and outings while reflecting on a lifetime of union work. Spokesman Jim Hagedon notes 30 000 retired GM employees and dependents in the region and grander trends show many retirees seek part time work or new careers after leaving GM.
