Churchill Defies Fees To Force New Policy Vote
London Dec. 19 Prime Minister Churchill told the House of Commons the Greek situation had improved and challenged opposition to force a vote on confidence. He refused a pre Christmas review and said any immediate debate would require a censure vote, forcing the government to stand or fall. He defended Belgium moves and a temporary Western Front news blackout as directed by the Supreme Commander.
