Pvt Raymond Malanoski 23 suffered a dislocated wrist and multiple lacerations while Pvt James Patch 24 had dental injuries. Police said the 1962 Pontiac Tempest left the road at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday. charges pending. Fire crews responded to a Lincoln Apartments stove fire at 5:30 a.m. No damage reported. A separate AP report notes a dispute between AFL CIO Machinists and United Air Lines was reportedly settled after threats of a strike.

Man and Wife Held for Grand Jury Action
Raymond M Poole 22 and his wife Barbara Ann Poole 18 of Monrovia were ordered held for grand jury action on armed robbery charges after a preliminary hearing in Magisterate Court. They were arrested November 15 after an alleged hold up of Eli Alper in Frederick Junction. Poole and Allen Brown allegedly beat Alper and took 195 dollars a .22 caliber gun a .25 automatic and a cash register. Mrs Poole allegedly drove the getaway car. Brown was ordered held for the grand jury in a prior hearing.
