Add-on members named to Frederick County Democratic panel
The Frederick County Democratic State Central Committee named three add-on non-voting members after interviewing ten applicants. Brent Ayer 39 Gary Hughes 41 and Robert Kresslein 38 join the seven elected panel members. All add-ons are men due to bylaws requiring gender parity as five elected members are women. Ayer and Kresslein had previously lost September bids. Ayer was Beverly Byron’s former chief of staff and now an administrative assistant on Capitol Hill. Hughes is a small business consultant who once ran for Frederick mayor. Kresslein is a Frederick-based lawyer.
