Two MIGs downed by Capt Coberly in Korea patrol
Capt Theodore S Coberly, 30, son of J G B Coberly of Sykesville, shot down two enemy planes over Korea and returned to base. A West Virginian raised in Parkersburg, he is a 1941 Air Force veteran who trained pilots in World War I and is on his first overseas assignment. He rooms with Maj George A Davis Jr of Lubbock, Texas, who has shot down twelve Communist planes in sixteen days. Christmas party notes follow from Utica Lutheran Woman's League in Lewistown with cards, prizes, and musical recitals including solos and duets by several members. The article also references George M Pullman, railroad sleeping car designer, born in Brockton, N. Car.
