Hunter Rescued After Night On Pooles Island
Baltimore duck hunter Charles C. Simon, 33, was rescued by Coast Guard after spending a frigid night on Pooles Island in the Upper Chesapeake Bay. His brother John alerted authorities when Simon failed to return home Saturday night. Simon built a fire to stay warm as his 12 foot aluminum boat broke down and rough weather trapped him.
