Freed Of Violation In Court Not Guilty On Passing Charge
A Shooks Town motorist Raymond William Burdette III, 18, was found not guilty of interference with a motor vehicle while passing by Magistrate Stanley Bennett. The Dec 10 incident near Monocacy Park Tavern involved wet roads and a left turn that led to a crash on Md 355. Witnesses testified drivers used signals. Burdette swerved to avoid a misread situation as the other car allegedly backed up. Ambush found guilty of drunken driving with a 150 dollar fine in a separate Frederick City case.
