Baltimore December 16 AP Engineers for the State Roads Commission estimate the new dich highway between Frederick and Hagerstown would cost about the same as rebuilding the present National highway. A single lane would cost 1 090 000 and two lanes 4 000 000 with reconstruc tion on that basis. Works Progress funds are pending before Comptroller General Ro McCarl for final approval. The Roads Commission plans to include the project in 1936. Governor Nice asked delaying plans pending a hearing with him present.
