John William Spriggs a 26 year old Cumberland student at West Virginia University was killed in a Route 26 wreck when his car hit fire and was demolished. Uniontown motorist Jack Sincock found him and rush to Uniontown Hospital where he died en route from a skull fracture. Spriggs son of Mr and Mrs William T Spriggs was traveling from Cumberland to Morgantown and the accident occurred near the Pennsylvania West Virginia line.
