Rockefeller health board commission returns from study trip
Five members of the International Health Board commission of the Rockefeller Foundation, who left June 2 for Central America to study yellow fever and tropical diseases, have returned. The commission was headed by General William C. Gorgas, U.S. Army, who announced the trip was successful and profitable. details will be released through the Rockefeller Foundation.

Submarine H-3 Crew Rescued as Coast Breakers Threaten
Eureka California December 15 Five crewmen from the US submarine H-3 were brought ashore by breeches buoy after the craft ran aground north of Eureka. The vessel, part of a flotilla en route to Mare Island, battled shallow surf and heavy breakers while air tanks and signaling attempted to aid the trapped sailors. The Cheyenne remains offshore while rescue efforts continue amid rising tides and spreading wreckage.
