Frederick Board of Trade to Press Freight Service Issue with B&O
Frederick merchants complain freight service on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad is limited to every other day. Secretary Lloyd T. MacGill files the merchants' appeal with B&O while the Board seeks restored local train service to improve freight and mail facilities. Discussions include Western Maryland mail routes and new telephone rates for Braddock Heights as rates are sought to be approved by the Public Service Commission.
