TJ teacher pleads guilty to homicide by motor vehicle
A 26 year old Garrett County teacher, Warfield, pled guilty to homicide by motor vehicle for the January 8 crash that killed 27 year old Brandon Chesnik, a Hillcrest Elementary second grade teacher. The plea drops three charges and authorizes home detention until sentencing in late February. Warfield’s blood alcohol was 0.16, above the DWI threshold.
