Enrolling 20 Negro Students to Washington Schools
Twenty Black students from Front Royal Virginia entered Washington's integrated schools amid a dispute that shut down Front Royal's white high school. Organizers aim to raise about 10 dollars to cover fees and costs. They expect Gov J Lindsay Almond to be informed. The DC system charges out-of-district students 382 dollars yearly for senior high and 317 for junior highs. Late enrollment reduces first semester charges.
