Fine Response To Greek Relief
The public response to the Greek relief appeal in Frederick and nearby counties has been liberal with many used garments and new children's clothing donated. Zonta Club contributed clothing and layettes, the high school collected over five hundred items, Rural Women’s Clubs sent crews and a truckload, and Louis Orphan Home contributed. Two thousand of six thousand requested garments are en route while sorting and moving to Greece requires 20 women daily for two weeks. The Winchester Hall room overflow prompted relocation to larger quarters.
