Washington Brown, colored, died at Missouri hospital after an illness. He had been a respected member of the community and was well regarded by many friends and neighbors. Funeral arrangements were set for Thursday at the local church.
Funeral services were conducted for Edward Kehiec at the parish church with Rev. Jr. U.S. G. Rupp officiating. Chorale emblems were presented and bearers included Edward Cramer Frederick Ropp Johan Finger Alop Y Bennett Edward Cote and C McMuten. Interment followed at Mt. Der Cemetery. Thomas Funeral Director.
Miss Mary Alexander recovering after an operation as well as can be expected. William Dansberger of West Patrick Street severely injured his left hand when caught in a skating press at his employer. He was taken to Frederick City Hospital for treatment.

Westerans Bible Class meeting at Calvary Methodist Sunday School held at Mrs Sappington home with program by the committee and refreshments. Hostesses next month are Mrs Guy Brest and Miss Nantie Youns.
