About 815 people attended the fifth annual Pancake Day fundraiser by the Lions Club of Frederick at the Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ. Charles Dodd led the event as general chairman and hoped to surpass last year’s attendance of 1,649 while 99 Lions members worked. Lionesses and Mrs. Carolyn Feaga organized cake and cookie sales with 25 women helping to raise funds for the Sight Conservation Program.

Man Helps Motorist Then Steals Deer
