Charlie Stup estate sale draws diverse crowd at fairgrounds
At the Frederick Fairgrounds a large crowd gathers for the Charlie Stup estate sale as federal agents confiscate a copper still before bidding. The sale runs through Saturday with coins, books, furniture, glass, documents, and firearms on offer. Stup, a Frederick restaurateur who died this year, supported scouting and community deeds, drawing buyers from across the country including museums and collectors.
