C Lease Bussard, a retired dairy farmer and longtime Frederick, Maryland civic figure, died Sunday December 1 at Ashford Presbyterian Hospital in San Juan Puerto Rico. He lived at 4825 Buckeystown Pike Frederick and 1479 Ashford Ave, San Juan. Born February 9 1911 in Frederick he was son of Clarence Angell and Katharine Elisabeth Lease Bussard. He attended Frederick High School and Western Maryland College graduating in 1954 where he played varsity soccer and basketball and earned letters in track. He was elected captain of the Omnis team in 1952 and helped lead them to a undefeated season. a peak tied to his college era and later national invitational play. He married Frances Lavina Thomas Bussard in 1535.
