Yule Decorations Drive City Hall to Boost Xmas Plan
Mayor Derr announced festive upgrades in Frederick with an old crest restored atop the House Hill, a Santa display at Tiny Town Park, and new plastic candy decorations on Market and Pawtice streets funded by the Frederick Chamber of Commerce. The chamber plans two square trees and debated suspending one over Patrick and Market to avoid traffic hazards. Chamber chief Rhoderick cited daylight streetlights boosting the display while stressing cost and maintenance.
