Baltimore and Allegany County report record lows as a northwest wind drives temperatures to 15 degrees. Cumberland drops to 15 and Baltimore near zero, with roofs torn and streets iced. Weather forecasts predict continued cold and possible relief later in the week.
Federal and city police traced a break in at the Annapolis post office where burglars opened a compartment and took about $10,000 in money and other valuables. Postmaster Joseph M.
