Exhibition plan to replica Ezra Meeker pioneer cabin colony

The Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition will feature five cabins on the grounds under Meeker leadership. A blockhouse from 1835 will be rebuilt near Seattle, with a schoolhouse reproduction and relics from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and parts of Wyoming and Montana. A music hall cabin will house old melodeons while spinning wheels operate. A big barbecue and potato roasting pits accompany ongoing exhibits as pioneer life is showcased.
