Germantown man killed in head on I 70 collision
A Montgomery County man died and two others were seriously injured in a early Sunday head on crash on the new I 70 near New Market. Martin William Brill 24 of Germantown died after being trapped for more than 50 minutes. Douglas E Richie 23 of Mechanicsville was badly hurt and flown to hospital. Ronald L Wasserman Jr 24 of Baltimore was treated for multiple injuries. Alcohol and driver error are listed as probable factors. The crash closed the westbound lanes and traffic was rerouted to the old road. The incident raises the county traffic death toll to 33 for the period.
