Four Arrested in Post Office Safe Crackings Loot Recovered
George May reports two men a teenager and a Baltimore woman charged with theft of about 825,000 from Burkittsville and Bootsbore Post Offices. Arrests were made on US 404 in Funkstown after police stopped a car with cash and weapons. A lock was forced at the Burkittsville Post Office and a safe opened. A preliminary hearing is set for Friday in Hagerstown Court.
