Automobiles Hit Running Horses West of Middletown
Corporals Pat Martin and Lloyd Newcomer of Fort Myer Virginia were injured when their car struck a horse being driven loose near Middletown. The men were hospitalized with elbow and chest injuries after the crash at about 2:10 AM. A Baltimore Sun truck also struck a horse earlier. no one was hurt. The soldiers were en route to Fort Myer after furlough and their car was towed for repairs.
