Preliminary census results show Frederick as Maryland's third largest city behind Baltimore and Rockville with an estimated 39,928 residents, a 42.2 percent rise since 1980. Four injured in single car crash on Reich's Ford Road
A Thursday morning wreck on Reich's Ford Road left four people injured in a one vehicle crash. A juvenile driver faced alcohol related charges and license issues while two juveniles and William David Andreas, 22, of Gaithersburg, were treated for minor injuries. Frederick sees 17 percent rise in serious crime in six months
Frederick City logged a 17.2 percent increase in serious crimes from January through June 1990 versus the same period in 1989.
