County zoning plan faces strict frontage and acreage limits
The zoning amendment requires hunting and fishing club facilities to cover at least 25 acres and imposes a 300 foot road frontage rule. Club leaders fear these conditions will push development away from Mount Quirault’s wooded setting. Members plan letters of opposition as hearings loom and possible revisions trigger a full public process again.
