Howard Kang, 35, of Bords, died after being struck by a truck along a state highway in Clarksburg. Driver Herbert M. Burdette, Germantown, was detained on charges of manslaughter. A hearing before Justice Charles W. Woodward was scheduled for Monday. Witnesses were listed as two.
