Mount St Mary's student sues for millions over dorm incident

Mount St Marys College student Keith Primozic of Laytonsville sues Christopher Ellis and Jason Becker of Baltimore in Frederick County Circuit Court. The four count suit seeks nearly 1 million in punitive and about 460000 in compensatory damages, alleging battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress after a September 18 1994 incident where Primozic tried to stop two men from entering a women students dorm room and was struck with a beer bottle and beaten.

Malpractice suit filed against Frederick lawyer Campen

A $2 million legal malpractice suit was filed in Frederick County Circuit Court by Mary L. Childerston against Steven Campen. The Germantown woman contends she paid $20,000 to secure his services for a domestic relations case in Washington County and accuses him of inadequate representation, failing to litigate issues, and causing monetary losses in alimony, marital property, child support, and legal fees, with a jury trial requested.

Child finds three rifles under bush on Eureka Lane

An 8 year old reported finding three rifles, one loaded, behind a house on Eureka Lane in Discovery. Sheriff deputies collected a Stevens long rifle with a scope, a Revelation Savage Arms .22 with eight rounds, and a Marlin .22 with a scope. Call 694-1040 with information.
