Damascus High School 4-H members Karen Runkles and Joe Hagerty were crowned 1981 Montgomery County fair king and queen. The event opened the 20th annual float parade with blue ribbons awarded to multiple clubs including the Goshens Geysers and the Jersey 4 Hers.
