Election Board Prepares For Registration
The Frederick County Election Board plans a special registration day next Tuesday from 9 am to 7 pm in the Court House basement to handle new registrants transfers and precinct transfers. 60 precincts will participate with a first team of Ruth Moberly Arthur Potts and Grover C Stewart leading, while two more pairs may assist if needed.

Shirley Mae France, reputed English Channel swimmer who vanished after a reception in her honor, was found tonight at the home of her swimming coach Harry Boudakian and his wife. She declined to return to her father Walter France in Somerset, saying she would stay with the Boudakians and plans to attend Somerset High School next fall. Earlier she had left with the Boudakians after a reception and dinner attended by about ten thousand people. Her mother and father had been left uncertain about her whereabouts.
