Man found guilty of killing 22 year old woman
A Washington County Circuit Court jury convicted 22 year old Robert L. Pardue II of first degree murder in the strangulation of Tracy Lynn Viar of Hagerstown. Sentencing date not set as Pardue remains jailed awaiting fate. Witness Harold Kendell testified Pardue admitted parking with Viar on December 20, 1989 and strangling her after a dispute over engagement plans.
