Carroll County debates asbestos plans keep schools open
Carroll County Board of Education ruled out closing county schools if hazardous asbestos is found after the September 4 start. An Asbestos Advisory Committee chaired by James Justice will work with Johns Hopkins hygienist Peter Lees to assess risk, with alternative instruction if needed.
