Mandel to state officials Less services or higher taxes

Ocean City AP Gov Mandel told Maryland County officials that fiscal 1978 will likely need new revenue sources, with a possible tax increase or reduced services. Taxi Driver Held Up At Middletown

State police investigate an early morning robbery of a Hagerstown taxicab driver in Middletown. An unnamed driver picked up two black males in Hagerstown shortly after 1 am and drove them to Middletown where the incident continued.
