Rosedale Underpass deemed not feasible for safety plan
Rosedale Citizens Association reports from Robert Q. Bonnell that a pedestrian and bicycle underpass cannot be built at any of three suggested Biggs avenue points. 628 area families sought the underpass for safety, but issues of street pattern, grading, drainage, policing and lighting block construction. Bonnell proposes sidewalks under Fourth and Seventh street bridges to separate walkers and cyclists, with the association’s acting chair being Mrs. George L. Bennett.
