How Frederick Would Fare In Case Of Strike
Frederick would be cut off from mail and express service and face travel disruptions as a railroad strike paralyzes the region. The city would be largely tied up yet less severely than larger eastern cities, thanks to local food supply access and the Hagerstown Frederick Railway handling farming districts. The government would likely deploy National Guardsmen to operate key trains while strike breakers and federal authority protect routes.
