Speech and hearing programs aid pupils with special needs
Rock Creek School on Waverly Drive hosts a summer program for 53 children aged 3 to 10 with speech and hearing challenges. Two therapists lead activities using total communication, lip reading, and sign language, supplemented by music therapy and close ties to the Maryland School for the Deaf to reinforce learning at home.
