Rescue Squad members lead demo at Olney drills
Frederick County Rescue Squad members Clinton K Hughes and George A Bodimer of Braddock Heights led a rescue techniques demonstration at the Feder a Civil Defense Headquarters in Olney last Sunday. The session opened a two week Rescue Cive con ousted by the Maryland State OD Defense Agency for rescue and first aid squads with Explorer Scouts from Braddock Heights participating alongside local adults. Bodmer stressed safety as the wreckage was simulated and noted no hazard to youths. The program continues Sunday with further demonstrations on lashing rigging and moving heavy objects, plus an emergency maternity care talk and torch cutting demonstration by Frederick's Philip Huteshew.
