Advice covers seasonal relocation, reducing exertion, sealing bedrooms, amber glasses for eyes, and especially anterior injections of pollen extracts to desensitize patients. Early medical prophylaxis begins about three months before symptoms, with a two month course of injections, generally safe under a competent physician.
