Doctor convicted of assault and battery on pro-lifers
Dr. Alan J. Ross, a gynecologist at Uptown Women's Clinic, was found guilty on three counts of assault and battery after two pro-life activists testified they were confronted outside his Potomac home and later at his clinic in Gaithersburg. The judge fined him $210 total and he plans an appeal arguing provocation by the protesters.
