Partially Seeing Children Attend Summer Program
The Frederick County Board of Education runs a six week summer program for partially seeing children, with eighteen students from eight elementary schools participating at Waverley Elementary and Catoctin High School. Mrs. Martha G. Sullivan leads individualized instruction alongside parent teacher conferences to boost residual vision use and social and academic growth through academics, democratic living, and social arts, including field trips and photos documenting activities.
