Frederick Board weighs private school location on East Second Street
Neighbors oppose a plan to open a small nursery and elementary school at 211 East Second Street, arguing variances from side yard setback and lot width, parking, and traffic concerns. The Frederick City Board of Zoning Appeals delayed a decision until its next monthly meeting while it tours the site and weighs residents’ concerns against plans to use the first floor for classrooms and upper floors for apartments.
