Motorist Acquitted In Frederick Court Session

In his first day on the bench substitute magistrate Richard Burgee found Edward Poole of 319 West Patrick Street not guilty of speeding beyond reasonable limits after a July crash on U S 40A east of Braddock Heights. Trooper Grose testified Poole’s Buick skidded 140 feet and hit a pole. Poole and two passengers were treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Poole attributed the crash to a car pulling into his path. Poole’s wife corroborated the story.
