Safety Awareness Day sponsored by Frederick County and FCC
Frederick County and Frederick Community College hosted Safety Awareness Day at the FCC Fieldhouse to reduce injuries and workers compensation costs. Exhibits covered alternative fuel vehicles safety defense and back injury prevention with seminars on highway work zone safety trenching and shoring. Nearly 100 county employees registered in the first hour and organizers aim for an annual event with broader private sector participation.
