The mangled body of John Dean a 35 year old Point of Rocks resident was found at 5 30 this morning on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad tracks the head entirely severed from the body which lay between the rails An inquest was deemed unnecessary after officers investigated Dean last seen Tuesday night thought to be under liquor He is survived by a wife and two children Dean was believed struck by a westbound B and O train and instantly killed The body found a short distance from the head Funeral Thursday afternoon at 2430 o'clock from the home of sister Mrs Marie Barrett Point of Rocks M R Etchison and Son are in charge
