Davis changes plea in Virginia capital murder case
Frederick man Charles R. Davis, 38, withdrew an Alford plea and will stand trial for first degree murder and abduction with intent to defile in the strangulation death of a Virginia woman. A Goochland Circuit Court judge set aside the plea and a jury trial is slated for spring next year with the death penalty possible.
