Howard County Fair features cake auction and 4 H events
The Howard County fair entered its second full day with the 4-H Cake Auction the Ladies Lead Contest and the 4-H Market Swine Show. Patty Bowman won the high selling cake for 90 dollars bought by Mullinix Grain and Fertiliser. Carol Hodiak’s cake was second. Winners in the Ladies Lead contest were Leslie Clary Stephanie Scheel and Wendy Miller. Swine show champions included Mark Moxley as grand champion, Phillip Thorne reserve, and Carl Curtis pairing as grand champion. Fire and emergency notes and postmaster appointments also appear in this edition.
